Quote of the day
By Stroke of Genius
In this TED clip, Elizabeth Gilbert, the author whose book Eat, Pray, Love made the bestseller list, talks about how some successful artists live with the fear of losing their genius. Her talk is focused on a healthier and less pressuring perspective: Creative performance does not come from a genius who lives within, but from a genius who surrounds us and strikes at odd times. Thereby, the sole responsibility is taken from the artist on having to produce another mastermind piece of art. Relax and leave it up to Genius or Daemon to strike again and just be quick enough to catch its fast, but gentle stroke of creativity.
