International Stammtisch at the English Theatre Frankfurt

On 3 November, Frankfurt International School will be the host at the International Stammtisch at the English Theatre in Frankfurt. This is a forum for newcomers, short-term and long-term expats, was well as Germans who want to network while learning more about the region. It is an initiative of the city of Frankfurt, the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce, the English Theatre, both international schools, the German-British Association and the Newcomers-Network.

Please come and join on 3 November when Ian Gulliford speaks about language learning. The Frankfurt International School Honor Strings will entertain with a few pieces out of their fall repertoire. The finger food afterwards has been kindly sponsored by ARAMARK.

Applefest 2008 at Frankfurt International School

The Frankfurt International School (F.I.S.) Parent Teacher Group would like to invite everyone to the 2008 Applefest on

Sunday, 19 October,

from 12:00-16:00

on the F.I.S Waldlust campus.

Join an afternoon of fun and games, food, drinks and music, and support the various student service projects offering goodies at their booths.

Food & Drink
Apple is the star!  From apple muffins to apple wine, you’ll find lots of tasty treats.  Also on offer will be the ever popular Asian dumplings, hot dogs, hamburgers, brats and more.  Stop by the Beer tent, or enjoy wine from the Rheingau region, or fresh pressed apple juice.  Something is sure to whet your appetite!

Arts & Crafts Vendor Market
Enjoy a stroll through the market where you will find Polish pottery, pashminas from Nepal and Tibet, jackets and rugs from India, Etchings of the locality, Soft toys and goods from Canada, Turkish bags and shoes, books, handmade cushions, paintings, handmade bags, jewelery, wine, and hand painted tin Christmas decorations.

…and so much more!!

Parking around the school will not be possible, but a free shuttle service is offered from the parking lots at Edeka and Rolls Royce (both located on Hohemarkstrasse) throughout the duration of the fest.

International Stammtisch at the English Theatre Frankfurt

If you are in Frankfurt next Monday, Oct 6, 2009,  you might want to pay a visit to the International Stammtisch in the English Theatre in Frankfurt. This is a networking forum which focuses on the international community in the Frankfurt Rhein/Main area.

Frankfurt International School (F.I.S.) is one of the initiators and helps organize the monthly event. In fact, on November 3 our school will be the focus of evening with Ian Gulliford speaking about language learning and F.I.S. students providing the entertainment. The caterer company Aramark has also generously agreed to offer finger food for the event.

Open to everyone.
