Sometime around September, scaffolding went up on one of the last original military housing buildings in Camp King, Oberursel. The paint job was completed a couple of weeks ago, but renovation continues with the installment of new building doors in progress.
The new color matches the rest of this otherwise modern settlement – a very light gray to compliment the other townhouses in the area.
My preference for its original sandy color stems from a bit of nostalgia, I admit. But choosing this drab gray color for a new coat only makes it blend in with the rest of the settlement. I’d suppose this was the city council’s intention…
