The Frankfurt International School (FIS) Parent Teacher Group (PTG) would like to invite you to the 2009 Applefest this coming Sunday, 18 October, from 12:00 – 16:00 on the FIS Waldlust campus. The event is open to the public.
This festival provides an opportunity for school service projects and student groups to raise funds while the afternoon is filled with fun and games, food, drinks and music, and support the students!
Apple is the star! From apple muffins to apple wine, you’ll find lots of tasty treats. Also on offer will be the ever popular Asian dumplings, hot dogs, hamburgers, brats and more. Stop by the Beer tent, or enjoy wine from the region, or fresh pressed apple juice and smoothies.
Reminder: there will be no parking around the school! Free shuttle service will be offered from the parking lots of Edeka and Rolls Royce (both on Hohemarkstrasse) to the FIS campus on a continual basis throughout the duration of the fest.
